KMP Force Measurement Plate

• Measures the force acting on the tool parallel to the plate by means of strain gauges. Depending on the design, this can be the feed force or the passive force of a cutting tool.
• The measurement remains unaffected by other force components.
• Example of use:
  Sensitive cut-off detection as well as wear and breakage detection when drilling.

DA Pressure Transmitter

• Hydraulic or pneumatic pressure is converted by the DA into a measuring voltage.
• Mathematical processing of the measured value by the sensor adaptation module ADDM
• Example of use:
  Accumulation pressure measurement with fork barriers
  Monitoring of hydraulic feed rates during cutting and forming
  (use of two transducers upstream and downstream of the working piston = differential pressure measurement)

• Measurement takes place close to the tool or to the workpiece, also on rotating spindles or tools.

  Acoustic detection of the contact between grinding wheel and workpiece for air cut reduction

EMS-Dyn Acoustic Emission Sensor

• Electromagnetic sensor for non-contact detection of the dynamic torque component of ferromagnetic drills.
• Compact and very flat design
• Can be used in wet processing
• Anwendungsbeispiel:
  Drill breakage monitoring by measuring changes in the magnetic flux in the drill shaft due to the dynamic part of the torque during drilling, e. g. for drills in multi-spindle drill heads or deep hole drilling with the smallest drill diameters.
  Partly also used for tool wear control.
